親鸞、歎異抄、ニルヴァーナ

歎異抄というのは簡単に言うと親鸞語録。著者は親鸞の弟子の唯円と言われている。とはいえ諸説あり定かではない。なにせ鎌倉時代のことだ。今から真相を突き止めるのは不可能だろう。 なんで歎異抄のことなど書いているか。親鸞の生誕日だから。承安3年4月1日に生まれ弘長2年11月28日に入滅。西暦ではまた変わってくるけど和暦で考える。ちょっと気になる言葉、入滅とは煩悩の炎が吹き消えた状態、宗教的解放を意味する解脱のことであるこの言葉は親鸞に正しいのだろうか。入滅というのは仏になる、悟りを開くと同義だ。ただ、...
