私の発音が悪いから英語が通じない・・・

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記「発音が悪いから通じない」英語が通じない理由をこう考えてしまいがち。じつは、発音に対する苦手意識を強く持つ日本人はとっても多いんですね。「ネイティブのように格好よく英語を話せたら・・・」英語がうまくなりたいと思う誰もが思い描く夢ですね。でもね、はじめは発音を気にしない方がいいんです。英語の発音よりも英語のリズムのほうが重要なんですね。英語独特のリズムやイントネーションを覚えれば英語が通じるようになるだけでなく、今まで聞こえなかった英語の音が聞こえるようにもなるんです...

Good news

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 My eldest son brought good news. His art was chosen as a representative of the ward and it will be exhibited at an exhibition of Tokyo. He said "Believe or not, My art was chosen! Everybody in my class was surprised when they heard the news. I was surprised most!" He looked so excited! I want to value his personality.

New players are now wanted !

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 Now we want baseball players for our team. My youngest son ask his friends every weekends for baseball. Mothers are very slow to admit their kids the baseball team. They knew how big is mother's work.... My recruiting goal is 5 boys for year 3.

I can't concentrate at all !

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 Since I was named as the chairwoman of the parents' association of baseball team to which my sons' belong, I am obsessed with the management of it. There are lots of work and lots of informative matters every week. I'm always thinking of the team even under work. The trouble is that I can't concentrate my work in a day!

Development of physical strength

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 Now it is during the baseball off-season. My sons' team mainly focus on development of physical strength for the members. After their ordinary practice they run the ground for 30minutes. It seemed to be tough for my son. He is small eater. He eats less than his youger brother. I thought he need to develop his strength... I sugested him to run [:ジョギング:] every morning. Although he agree with me, we never know.

Phone Call

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 I received a phone call from India. I was very upset by the call since I never thought she would call me. She spoke so fast without taking breaths and has a strong accent, I could hardly understand what she said. Besides I could not hear her well as it has some echo on the phone. Snow

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 My two of sons are waiting for snowing. When they heard the news last evening that it could be snow today, they were so exited. Today's morning how they disapointed as it was not snowing.... It is still fresh in our minds that Tokyo was hit by heavily snow three years ago. My sons were running around in the heavy snowing and came back soaking wet. I should take them to the ski, shouldn't I?

The trash-filled house

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 At dinner time, my eldest son started to talk what he saw today. He went to his friend house after school. When he opened the door at his friend's house, he found a mountain of rubbish at the entrance. The smell was awful. He said "I almost got sick! I never seen such a house! " Although he seemed to be shocked, I told him that our house would be same if we neglected cleaning for a few week.

Happy New Year !

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 I'm sorry. I haven't updated my blog for a week. I'm so busy! I moved to another office last month. It made me busy. I suffered in this week. My two of sons were still during a winter holiday. I left my sons at home and had to go work. I got up early and prepared tree lunchboxes, one for me and two for them. And also prepared breakfast and dinner. I make a list what they should do in a day everynight. When I got back home, I alway found a big mess and sloppy kids!...
