A transration competition

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 At last, I finshed the translation of a picture book which is designated for the subject of competition. I did my best. What I can do is only praying. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 My two of sons skipped out on their swiming lessons today. I guess they must be immersed in games with DS so that they forget the time for the swiming. I got mad and placed the ban on DS for a week. They admited their guilt without protest, and hold them out.

Too Long!

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 Finally I made a draft of my ice break speech. It supposed to be 4-6 minutes speech, I wrote a whole script and read it loud as a test. However, it was only 3 minutes although I read it very slowly. No! It is not enough. So I added more information and topics to make it longer. As I read it very, very slowly, it reached 5 minutes. Hula in Winter

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 I went to see a hula stage again. It was on Sunday, and it was rainy and soooo cold outside. But hula stage was outside. Hula is a dance of Hawaii, then costumes are usually suitable for summer. The dancers looked too cold to dance. Although weather was terrible, hula stage was very nice. Japan Grand Sports Prize

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 Japan Grand Sport Prize has been announced, which is awarded to a person who is the most successful athlete in this year. Swimmer Kosuke Kitajima won the grand prize. This was Kitajima's third grand prize for the first time ever. The Japanese women's softball team is selected to receive the olympic special prize.

A batting cage

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 I took my sons to a batting cage today. We all expected the benefit of preparation because they make a practice swing almost every night. I found their improvement in the form. They'er moch better than before. However, when they practiced with a batting machine, they couldn't hit balls easly. They looked dispirited. I believe, if they keep on the practice swing every night, they will make a big effort on their skills. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Parent-and-child cooking

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 We attended the event called "parent and child cooking". We cooked "Okonomiyaki" and sweet potatos. The recipe of sweet potato was extremely simple. Just steam some potatos and mash them with some batter. Some sugar may be added to your liking. Bake it in an oven and it is ready.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 According to the news paper, Stars at Tokyo Disney resorts, Mickey and Minnie were visited to hospitals and welfare institutions and encouraged children in the costume of Santa Claus on 9th. They presented some special Christmas cards and paded children on the head. The children must have been delighted.
