continued from yesterday's apron story
That apron was commissioned by a friend. She provided six shirts and 2 aprons were made so far. I dug out some more photos.front detailbackback belt is made of shirt cuffsLeftover material is made into a cafe apron. What's happened to the collars? They are going to be cut into thin strips and will be used for rag weaving someday.

two-shirt apron - what an exciting title!
JUGEMテーマ：handmade tale I'm a weaver and do a lots of rag weaving. Rag weaving is basically recycling. Recycling of old shirts, kimono, bed sheets, etc. When an old shirt comes to my direction I cut it into thin strips and weave. However, this time, I made an apron by stitching two used shirts together.Top half is one shirt. The big front pockets and skirt part is made of the other shirt.I guess this is called "reform".
