The presents
JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 It is the birthday of my father in law today and Mother's Day coming up tomorrow. I went out shopping for their presents. As both of days are very clsoe each other I prepare them at once. I always waver over choosing the presents. This time is slso... Finally I chose a pale blue-themed polo shirt for him and natural stone necklace for her. I was lucky because I could get them at descounted price. I'm sure they will like them.

Bicycle
JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 When could you ride a bike? My youngest son can't ride a bike at all. He has excellent reflexes. He love playing outside and running around. But he can't. I tried him to teach how to ride the bike sometime. He falls down soon. He seems to be afraid of falling down and difficult to keep the balance. The earthquake
JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 We had an earthquake last night. It was quite big and registered a lower 5 on the Japanese intensity scale of 7. At the time of earthquake, we were sleeping in bed. My house shook badly during the earthquake. I was thinking what I should take from my house during the earthquake. Luckily, it didn't become serious. Do you prepare enough for major earthquakes?

Children's Day
JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 May 5th is Children's Day. We had little party at my parents house. We had my sister and her children. We cooked dinner for kids and made little "KOINOBORI" and stuck the meatloaf shaped a heart. On Children's Day, people take baths in iris leaves in Japan. Irises are believed to bring good luck for Children. I prepared the iris bath for them. We enjoyed the fragrance.

My husband's parents home
JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 We visited my husband's family the before yesterday and stayed overnight. We were wormly welcomed. They look always worry how we are getting on as we live far from them and can't see so often. My husband's father loves drinking! If my husband still alive they would enjoy drink together... Dinosaur Continent
JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 We went to a dinasaur exhibition called "Dinosaur Continent" in MakuhariMesse last night. There were exhibited many dinosaur bones and fossils, and they were illuminated during night time. It effected fantastic scenery. It was not crowded because of the night museum. We could look around in relaxed manner.

JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 The Golden Week holiday is before our eyes. Basically, my kids attend activities of their baseball team during the holiday, but as they want to see their grandparents and cousins, I'm planning a short stay there. Tax on gasoline
JUGEMテーマ：英語日記 On may 1st,the provisional tariff of tax on gasoline was reinstated for the first time in a month. According to newspapers, following the reinstatement of the tax, Major gas stations will raise the price of gas by 30yen per a liter from today. Before the Golden Weed holidays, it's anoying people.
